From the north side of the Paardeberg Mountain comes White Lies. The cooling effect of mountain breezes in this warm part of the Western Cape, as well as the granite-derived soils, creates this clean, skin-contact wine, with notes of ripe green fruits and earthy flint.
How we made it: hand-harvested, twenty days skin-contact, spontaneous fermentation, four months in old oak.
In the vineyard: small-batch, sustainable farming, uncertified organic.
From: Swartland, South Africa.
Best served: straight from the fridge.
Allergens: contains sulphites.
